Following the result of the 2024 US presidential election and other critical races in California, we know many of you are concerned about how systemic injustices will impact people across this country, particularly survivors of human trafficking. 

At Cast, we’re taking stock and taking heart. We have weathered many challenging times—politically, economically, and culturally—before. Demand for our direct services is still higher than ever, and we’re working tirelessly to meet that demand. 

Survivors supported by Cast are encouraging others to reach out and seek support. Every day, we connect them to critical emergency and long-term support to create pathways to healing.  

Many of the calls we’ve received from survivors over the past two weeks reflect deep fears about the future and we want them to know: Cast will be here to support them through whatever uncertainties or challenges lie ahead. Our commitment is unchanged and unwavering: we will continue to provide accessible services, center impacted voices, and advocate for transformative human rights policy.
